The Thurmont Conservation and Sportsman's Club has for over 50 years supported numerous types of shooting sports including Trapshooting, Archery, and Several types of rifle shooting including Benchrest competition. Located on the Monocacy river between Thurmont and Woodsboro Md.the club is situated on approximately 60 acres of land. TCSC is also heavily involved in recreational vehicle type camping and many club members keep their trailers there year round. The club is also host for a number of activities by local Boy Scouts and similar groups. Below are several photographs of the club. The river will after periods of heavy rain tend to backup and flood the club as shown in these photo's.
